Tushar Shah - Chief Operating Officer
Mr Tushar Shah is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, L.L.B and a Bachelor of Commerce, from the University of Mumbai. He is currently Chief Operating Officer and heads the Structured and Asset Finance business in IL&FS Financial Services Limited (IFIN). Prior to this responsibility, he used to look after Corporate Advisory servicesAs the COO, he is responsible for business development for the group and managing the Assets and Structured Finance portfolio of IL&FS Group which is presently Rs 80 bn. The Assets and Structured Finance business typically include asset financing, projects and infrastructure lending, mezzanine debt, operating leases, acquisition funding and other corporate loans. In his previous roles, he has been actively involved in non-fund based advisory services encompassing M&A, business restructuring, private equity, debt syndication, capital market activities viz IPOs, open offers
Prior to his joining IL&FS, he use to practice Chartered accountancy and was a partner in Shah & Co
