Our team is guided by a Board comprising senior professionals in the industry. The Board is headed by Mr. Ramesh Bawa, who has rich experience of around 30 years in Banking and Financial Services sector. The Board also benefits from the expertise of Mr. Milind Patel, who has an overall experience of more than 22 years and has been in investment banking for more than 17 years and Mr. Rajesh Kotian, who has more than 22 years of experience in business development, structuring and execution of structured debt transactions

Our team comprises three dedicated professionals stationed in Hong Kong with significant experience in the industry. Additionally, we have seamless access to our network of international offices in India, Singapore, Dubai and London

Kate Kwan

Kate Kwan is the CEO of IL&FS Global Financial Services HK Ltd (Hong Kong). She has over 23 years of experience in loan syndications, secondary loans sales & trading, fixed income, debt capital markets, and risk management. As part of her current profile, she oversees IFIN’s Hong Kong business, handling financial advisory on both debt and private equity, covering clients in North Asia including Greater China.

Prior to joining IFIN, Kate was Head of Secondary Loan Sales at JP Morgan, Kate holds a DBA from Newcastle University; Master of Finance from HKU; Bachelor of Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Kate also has risk management background with her professional qualifications as Financial Risk Manager (FRM); Certified Public Accountant (CPA US); Certified General Management Accountant (CGMA).

Akashdeep Grover

Akashdeep is an Executive Director of Hong Kong office. He joined the firm in 2012 and primarily looks into business origination and execution. He has 16 years of work experience in Equity Research, Private Equity & Asset Management across institutions like Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank, Coutts & Kitara Capital. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology

Amit Sengupta

Amit Sengupta is an Associate Director with IL&FS Global Financial Services HK Ltd. He has over 15 years of experience in project finance, loan syndications, debt capital markets and risk. In his current role, he is responsible for originating and distribution of debt mandates and coverage of Indian Financial Institutions and Corporates in HK for business opportunities.

Prior to this, Amit was part of Debt Structuring & Distribution desk of IL&FS Financial Services Ltd in New Delhi. In that role he was responsible for structuring and placement of infrastructure financing deals with Indian domestic lenders. Prior to that he has worked with JM Morgan Stanley Fixed Income and Almondz Global Securities in India. Amit is a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors and MBA from Aligarh Muslim University.
